My parking spot at the Sports Bar, Perdido Key

Day two here and it seems to be flying by! Started the day leisurely with coffee and a great Nueske breakfast. Did some cleaning up the camp site and went and had the best campground shower ever! Sparkling clean, and spacious with my own little room!

Afterwards I was going to head back to the campsite but needed a few things so I headed off to Walmart. Checked my antifreeze and it was pretty low so I headed back in and bought some. Then it was back to Big Lagoon and I drove around checking the whole facility out. Wow - what a place. VERY unique. Unlike any park, beach or campground I ever saw before!

Picked up some firewood and oyster place recommendations. So decided to check them out. The Sports Bar had cheap drinks but no oysters. So then I went on to the Shrimp Basket.

Next Tuesday is their Oyster Special. Wrote that one down.

Thought it was time I showed you some oysters and the place I ate them!

Finally headed back to the campsite - almost 5 p.m. As much as I was uninspired to do so, I set up my pop up canopy. It took two hours. I did a little more organizing and finally stopped for some libations and nourishment. Thank god for all the cottage cheese I brought! I never drank a glass of wine so fast in my life!

I started my first campfire of the trip. About time! So all the heavy work is done and tomorrow I pick up my trike, so some laundry and pretty up my site. A fun day. As usual I am dead beat and heading to bed!
