Well this turned out better than I thought!

I can be patient with rain, but after 36 hours it was time to stop! Through some kind of miracle the inside of my canopy stayed dry, except for the floor. That is really no big deal as the sandy surface makes quick work of the water. For the most part. Where I park is still pretty puddly.

Joe Patti's

I spent the day checking out Pensacola mostly. It's like any other mid-sized city. Too much traffic and confusing street patterns. I made a lunch stop at Joe Patti's, a well-known seafood market in this area. The fish selection was amazing. I opted for sushi. Pretty expensive and mediocre. I ate with a nice woman who was originally from Spain but moved here 30 years ago.

On the way back to the campground I again got snoozy. So it was an hour and a half nap when I got back. When I woke I did some dishes and tidied up the place. I was going to make dinner but the rain continued so I decided to check out Sunset Grille, not too far from here.

Love the outdoor seating right on the boat dock!

I think this might be my favorite place so far. Prices were on the high side but not too terrible. I had Seafood Chowder and Chardonnay and cheese cake for dessert -$20.

The chowder was delicious and packed with seafood! With a light dinner I could treat myself with dessert! Bring on the cheese cake!

It appears we might be at the end of this part of the rain, We are supposed to get a few hours of it tomorrow morning, I hope not but if it does rain, please be only for the forecasted time! I am meeting Wanda tomorrow at the Gulf - maybe Todd, too, depending on how he feels.

Looking forward to take more interesting pictures tomorrow!

They even allow pets here!

Sweet dreams and sleep tight!
