What a fantastic day! Again! This picture was from lunch today with some very dear friends. Chuck and Lovey (Helen) Randle were good friends of my parents. Their son, Doug, was a friend of mine from high school. Their son, Marcus, was friends with my brother. Sadly he died in a motorcycle accident when he was 18. The last time I saw Lynas she was 12. LOL!

We met at the Oar House in Pensacola for lunch - great seaside atmosphere and really good food at reasonable prices! We had so much fun catching up and sharing old stories! We decided that this is going to have to be an annual event and we will try to get more family and friends to join us!

Just prior to meeting everyone, I was coming back fro doing the laundry and was lucky enough to catch the Blue Angels practicing. Not sure how this video is going to turn out, but make sure to expand it if it looks small.

It was a bit like trying to catch a whisper in the wind - you never knew when or from where they were coming. People were in parking lots trying to get pictures. Made you feel like a proud American again! I told Doug I have seen a lot of pilots in the stores. Good lord these young men are off the charts handsome! He said that was the reason I wanted to stay another week. What a card!

So after all my travels I came "home" and transferred some files, got the ice machine going, and took a nap. These days just shoot by - this has been an adventure in the truest sense. So much more to come!

I thought I was going to get this done early - yeah like 6 minutes early - hahahaha!

On to some TV watching and then bed. It smells so good in here with the clean bed linens and looks so pretty with the fairy lights on!

Sweet dreams all and have a wonderful night!
